Here are some places I recommend, having been to Paris four times
Tourist Attractions
Rue des Champs-Élysées Walking
I get up early and stroll cheerfully along the Champs-Élysées, which is relatively quiet, whilst listening to ‘Les Champs-Élysées’.

It was a pleasure just to stroll through the rows of glamorous boutiques.

On the way, I stopped at Pierre Hermé.

I ordered a large macaron that I wanted to try . The tartness of the raspberries matched the sweet macaroon dough! The waitress was charming and kind, and we took a break to read for a while.
I always order black coffee when I eat something sweet, but the ‘Americano’ here was very strong and tasty.(maby it was 2 shots) I find coffee alone too bitter, but it went well with the macaroons!

Seine River cruise

In the Netflix drama ‘Emily in Paris’, the scene where the party is held on the boat is so memorable that I decided to copy it and take the cruise.
For an hour or so I enjoyed the romantic streets of Paris as we crossed the Seine(alone).

I also saw the Statue of Liberty in Paris.

Naturally, I prefer the Miss Liberty in New York because it is bigger and more powerful.

Whether it’s day or night, simply strolling along the banks of the Seine is absolutely lovely.

Paris Disney
There are loads of attractions that you won’t find at Disney in Japan, so you really must go.

Disney in Paris was the fourth Disney built in 1992 and is divided into two parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studio Park.

I bought tickets that allowed us to go back and forth between the two parks. I had so much fun at Paris Disney that the time flew by.
Here are my three recommendations.
Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain (Land)
Star Wars lovers should definitely get on board .

Most of the other attractions have a wait time of less than 60 minutes, but when I tried to ride in the morning it was about 70 minutes.
So I rode it at night until it was empty and it was great fun.
It is a four-seater and I rode backwards. We fell sideways in the dark. It was amazing. I’m a bit scared because I’m a bit timid.
I found a video on You Tube and I’m going to put it up.☟
第1位 夜のパレード night parade(Land)
The projection mapping on Sleeping Beauty’s castle was really beautiful.

I misheard the staff’s English and thought it started at 9:00, but it started at 9:50, and at one point I thought I was going to leave, but I’m glad I did. I couldn’t take my eyes off it the whole time and I was very impressed.

Mont Saint-Michel

Unfortunately, it was foggy…
I ate a galette partway through.

Map☞https://maps.app.goo.gl/LBm5K8veEn75HMMM8
After eating, we climbed the long staircase and entered the abbey.

Tickets were purchased in advance, so I was able to enter smoothly. As it is the No.1 place for Japanese people to go abroad, I saw many Japanese people there.
According to research, the Japanese are the second most frequent visitors to Mont Saint-Michel after the French, with about 300,000 visitors per year (as of 2015).
The clear reason for the popularity among the Japanese is not clear, but it is said that the Japanese prefer landscapes with water. Japan’s three most scenic spots – Matsushima in Miyagi, Amanohashidate in Kyoto and Miyajima in Hiroshima – all have one thing in common: they all offer a view of the sea.
Mont Saint-Michel may be somewhat familiar to the Japanese.
It is also said to have been the model for the famous Lupin III films “Cagliostro’s Castle” and “Laputa Castle in the Sky” which is very famous of Japanese anime by Hayao Miyazaki.

History
The history of Mont Saint-Michel has also been researched. Mont Saint-Michel was inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1979 and is known as the ‘Wonder of the West’ and the ‘Pyramid of the Seas’.
Mont Saint-Michel was built in 708 by the order of Aubert, a neighbouring bishop, at the behest of the archangel Michael. It is said to have appeared many times in his dreams …
The architectural style differs from place to place, with the ‘l’amerville’ to the north of the abbey being Romanesque and the abbey boundary being Gothic, as it has been repeatedly collapsed and restored since it was first built in 708.

The Palace of Versailles

A friend who had visited the Palace of Versailles told me, ‘Once you’ve been to the Palace of Versailles, other palaces seem rather unimpressive,’ so I was filled with anticipation, wondering just how big it might be.
When I actually visited, not only was the grounds vast, as I’d expected, but the decorations within them were also incredibly intricate. It was quite moving to think that the famous Marie Antoinette had once lived here.
If you visit after watching the film “Marie Antoinette”, your trip will feel even more special♪

The Louvre Museum

The most famous work at the Louvre is the “Mona Lisa”. That was the only place where there were huge crowds.

The Pyramid in Paris, which is illuminated at night, is absolutely lovely.

Notre-Dame Cathedral

Notre-Dame Cathedral is quite famous and is listed as a World Heritage Site.
It is said to be a prime example of the Gothic style. ‘Notre-Dame’ is French for ‘Our Lady’, referring to the Virgin Mary.
Must-try culinary delights in France
Pastry
Stohrer
You can find delicious treats in any shop in Paris, but my absolute favourite patisserie is this one!!
If you’re not sure what to do, do pop in.

Ladurée

You do see them here and there in Japan, but Ladurée’s macarons are truly delicious. They really make you realise that the ones you’ve eaten before weren’t ‘real’ macarons after all. Do eat to try them in Paris!!

When you think of France, you think of delicious bread!! Here are my top recommendations, in order of preference.
La Panifacture

A cosy little bakery much loved by the locals. Both the biscuits and the bread are absolutely delicious. The croissants, with their crispy exterior and fluffy interior, are not to be missed.
BO&MIE

You see this bakery all over Paris. There’s a wide variety of bread on display, and it’s a pleasure just to pop in and have a look at the display window. You can place your order via a touchscreen, which made it easy to see what was on the menu.
Carré Pain De Mie

Upon entering, I discovered it was a specialist bread shop, with several Japanese staff members about.
I opted for the truffle toast, rather than the popular French toast or pork cutlet sandwich.
Even though I’m not the one creating it, it makes me feel really good to sense that Japan is well-liked overseas.

Onion Soup
One of France’s famous traditional dishes is onion soup. It was absolutely delicious wherever I had it.

Recommended Restaurants
chez nous

A truly delicious wine shop that you absolutely must visit when you’re in France.
I always make a point of visiting wine bars when I travel, and this is the one I’d recommend most out of all the ones I’ve been to so far.
We ordered a cheese and ham board and caprese. I felt that each ingredient of the ham and cheese was delicate and particular. I would go here every day if I could. I would drink here again when I come to France.

Bouillon Chartier Grands Boulevards
Enjoying escargot at a restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere!!

Firmine

Italian restaurants in France are the best. The dishes here, filled with burrata, really go down a treat with wine.

This hand cream from a brand that originated in Paris. It’s moisturising and smells lovely.

Accessories
There are lovely jewellery shops all over Paris. Just the fact that they’re in Paris makes them look stylish, doesn’t it?

Merci

This shop is a clothing and accessories boutique that often features in Paris tourist guidebooks. It stocks a wide range of simple yet distinctive garments that make you think, ‘This is exactly the sort of design I’ve been looking for!’
À la Mère de Famille

A friend told me about this chocolate shop. Apparently, it’s famous for its sweet chestnut confectionery. I bought some myself and enjoyed them back at the hotel.

Of course, the chocolate is absolutely delicious too.

MEERT

I enjoyed some stylish waffles in the café. This is a long-established shop, founded in 1761.
Apparently, ‘waffle’ is ‘gaufre’ in French. Unlike the thick waffles you often see, this one had a wonderful buttery aroma, and the thin waffle really brought out the flavour of the sweet bean paste filling, it was delicious.
There are various flavours, such as vanilla, pistachio and chestnut, and it seems the flavours change depending on the season.
Apparently, it was a shop that had the seal of approval of President Charles de Gaulle, who served as President of France from 1959 to 1969.

A wide variety of black teas were lined up on the shelves. I bought a tin to take home as a souvenir. I’m no expert on tea, but it contained leaves I’d never seen before and had a slightly spicy flavour.
Points to note
Metro app

Be sure to install this before you set off.
As I’m generally a rather disorganised person, I hadn’t given any thought to how I would get from Charles de Gaulle Airport in France to the centre of Paris, and ended up wasting an hour once I arrived at the airport.
I imagine most people travel into the city centre by metro from either Charles de Gaulle or Orly Airport, but the ticket machines at the airports are always crowded, and physical tickets cost €2.
With the app, you only have to pay for your travel costs, and it’s very handy as you can add it to Apple Wallet.
A single journey costs €2.50. If you’re travelling five times or more, a 1-day pass is better value than single tickets. It costs €14 to travel from the airport to the city centre.
If you use it quite frequently, you may find that neither your physical card nor mobile payments will work. Please do have a look at the article below for detailed instructions on how to purchase. I found it very easy to follow.
I ended up buying a new card, but the article below suggested a solution to the problem.

服装 Clothing
Winters in France are colder than in Japan, whilst the summer heat is different from that in Japan, it’s a kind of heat where you really feel the sun’s rays.
And because the light hits you differently than in Japan, sunglasses are a must.
Of course, do be careful of pickpockets. As toilets aren’t always readily available, do pop in whenever you get the chance.
