ワッフル Waffles
ベルギーに来たら絶対に食べたかったワッフル！
Waffles that I decided to eat when I came to Belgium.．
ブリュッセルに到着すると，至る所にワッフル・チョコレート屋さんがズラリと並んでいるのが目に入ります．
When I arrived in Brussels, I saw a row of waffle and chocolate shops everywhere.
どのお店も美味しそうなので，目に入ったお店に飛び込みました．
Every shop looked delicious, so I jumped into the shop that caught my eye.
たくさんのオプションがある中で，私はワッフルの中にトッピングを入れられるタイプの形を選びました．いちごとチョコレートを追加．
Among the many options, I chose the type of shape that can be filled with toppings.
I added strawberries and chocolate.
日本で菓子パンコーナーに売っているワッフルはサクサクですが，本場のワッフルはもっちもち🧇🧇
The waffles sold in sweet bread corners in Japan are crispy, but the authentic waffles were chewy.
イチゴの酸味とワッフルの甘さが相性抜群で，とても美味しかったです！
The sourness of the strawberries and the sweetness of the waffles were a perfect match, and it was soooo good!
ムール貝とベルギービール Mussels and belgian beer
ベルギーで有名な料理といえば，ムール貝を白ワインで蒸した鍋料理．
A famous Belgian dish is a hot pot dish of steamed mussels in white wine.
これがお酒に合うんです．
This dish went very well with alcohol.
私たちは，お鍋２杯分頂きました．１回目はノーマルなもの．２杯目はニンニクが効いたもの．
We got two pots. The first time is normal. The second cup is the one with garlic.
おかげでお腹がいっぱいになりました．ポテトは頼まなくてもついてきます．
My stomach is full. The potatoes came with it even if I didn’t ask for it.
カニクリームコロッケもとても美味しかったです．
Crab cream croquette was also very delicious.
私の大好きなYoutuber「バイリンガルちか」さんが入っていたお店だと思います．ちかさんが訪れた場所に行けて感動でした．
I think it’s the shop where my favorite Youtuber “Bilingual Chika” was in. I was moved by being able to go to the places that Chika visited.
チョコレート Chocolate
電車の時間が迫っていたので，そこまでゆっくり見れませんでしたが，ベルギーはチョコレート好きにはたまらなかったです．
I didn’t get to see it that far because the time for the train was approaching, but Belgium was irresistible for chocolate lovers.
一粒一粒ショーケースに飾ってあるチョコレートを見ているだけでワクワクします．
Just looking at the chocolates displayed in the showcase one by one made me feel excited.
時間もなく優柔不断なので結局1つのお店だけで我慢しました．
I was indecisive because I didn’t have much time, so I ended up with only one shop.
観光スポット
小便小僧ジュリアン君 Juliaanske
お腹が満たされたところで，地元の方々に「ジュリアン坊や」として親しまれている小便小僧を見に行きました．
With my stomach full, I went to see Manneken Pis, who is affectionately known to the locals as ”Juliaanske”.
なぜこんなに人気なのか歴史を調べてみると…
I wondered why it was so popular, so I looked into its history. Then．．
所説ありますが，一番有力なのは「反政府軍がブリュッセルを爆破しようとしかけた爆弾の導火線に小便をかけて消し、町を救った少年がいた」という武勇伝説らしいです．
There There are some theories, but the most convincing one is the legend of bravery, “There was a boy who saved the city by urinating on the fuse of the bomb that the anti-government forces were about to blow up in Brussels”.
他にもいろいろと面白い話が載っていたのでどれが本当なのやらよく分からないですが．．．
There were many other interesting stories, so I’m not sure which one is true.
とても人気なジュリアン君の周りには観光客がカメラを片手にツーショットをしていました．
お土産屋さんもジュリアン君で埋め尽くされています．私も一体連れて帰り，写真も撮ってきました📷✨
Around the very popular Juliaanske, tourists were taking two shots with cameras in one hand.
The souvenir shop is also filled with Juliaanske． I took one home with me and took some pictures.
ちなみに，小便犬と小便少女（ジャネケピスJeanneke Pis）もブリュッセルにおられます．ジェネケピスちゃんはジュリアン君とはグランプラスを挟んだ反対側に位置しているようです．
By the way, Pissing Dog and Pissing Girl (Jeanneke Pis) are also in Brussels. Jenekepis seems to be on the opposite side of the Grand Place from Julien.
この旅を通して初めて存在を知りました．小便少女はレストランのオーナーが客引きのために制作されたようです．
It was through this trip that I first learned of their existence. It seems that the piss girl was created by the owner of the restaurant to attract customers.
世界文化遺産グランプラス広場 World Cultural Heritage Grand Place Square
グランプラス広場は”レ・ミゼラブル”の著者であるヴィクトル・ユゴーが「世界で最も美しい広場」と称賛したことで有名であり，1998年に世界文化遺産に登録されています．
Place de la Grand Place is famous for being praised as “the most beautiful square in the world” by Victor Hugo, the author of “Les Miserables”, and was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1998.
グランプラス広場の美しさは写真では表現できないです!!360度歴史的建造物に囲まれており，どの建物も見どころ満載です.
Pictures cannot express the beauty of this square. Surrounded by historical buildings 360 degrees, every building is full of highlights
12世紀頃からブリュッセルの政治・経済の中心として栄えてきた場所らしいです．
It seems to have flourished as the political and economic center of Brussels since the 12th century.
広場内のブリュッセル市立博物館（王の家）には実物の小便小僧が展示されており，1000着ほどの衣装もあるようです．
In the Brussels City Museum (King’s House) in the square, a real Manneken Pis is displayed, and it seems that there are about 1000 costumes.
ブリュッセルは６時間ほどしかいられませんでしたが，大満足でした．
Brussels is 6 I could only stay in Brussels for about 6 hours, but I was very satisfied. I could only stay for about an hour, but I was very satisfied.
そういえばベルギーで見かけた観覧車，窓がなく人がむき出しになっていて驚きました．回転も日本のものより速かったです．．🎡
I was surprised to see a Ferris wheel in Belgium that had no windows and people were exposed. The rotation was also faster than the Japanese one.
